The Democrats official campaign to defeat Michele Bachmann in Minnesota’s sixth congressional district begins today. Congressional candidate Jim Graves is filing papers Thursday afternoon at the Secretary of State’s office in St. Paul.

Graves is a successful businessman and St. Cloud native. He recently purchased a home in the historic High Banks Place neighborhood near St. Cloud State University. Graves says he is running to create liveable wage jobs and become the full-time congressperson that the district deserves.

Bachmann is completing her second Congressional term.
